This Black Product Developer Dispels The Myths About Clean Beauty

Building a beauty business is incredibly hard work. Most entrepreneurs manage a compact in-house team and rely on outside specialists to execute many of their company’s critical functions. We wanted to shed a light on some of the essential supporting cast that makes it possible for these emerging brands to operate. With input from First And Last PR founder Stephanie Scott-Bradshaw and Cosmetics Design editor Deanna Utroske, we compiled a list of over 50 Black-owned service providers, from copywriters to contract manufacturers, active in the beauty and personal care space.

The new accelerator program supports Black-owned DTC beauty and wellness businesses in Atlanta, Georgia, and brings together the expertise of ingredient suppliers, product development professionals, marketing specialists, legal experts, and more.
